Let me tell you how our team managed to climb the fence, get around security and sneak into the exclusive Myriad 2018 media launch. No, that didn’t really happen, but we were lucky enough to get some first-hand information from Brittany, who is apart for the Myriad team. We asked about what occurred last Sunday morning at The Cube, QUT.
Brittany explained the 2018 Myriads Media Launch was a great turn and huge success, which is almost obvious! “With several online media outlets, representatives from Government, Qantas as well as Brisbane locals in the tech and startup space. We later aired on Channel 7, 9 & 5 with a preview of the speakers’ announcements.”
Let’s start with the announcement of the #MyriadAir competition. We asked Brittany what all the hype was about on Twitter around this #MyriadAir trend? “We are on on the lookout for some influencers to come onboard #MyriadAir. Myriad Air is a private 747 charter full of Silicon Valley’s big names. We will be giving away two seats for an influencer to get onboard and share their experience with their online tribe. This truly is a once in a lifetime experience!”
The prize package valued at $12,000 for the two lucky influencers is delivered in partnership with Queensland Government and Qantas. Myriad Air will bring more than 360 of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley to Queensland – Not a big deal or anything.
Who was announced for the 2018 lineup?

“It was great to share our #MyriadAir & speaker announcement to several media outlets. We had a great turn out & all guests shared the same enthusiasm as us. It was a pleasure to host this event at the QUT Cube – their mega-screens were awesome for us to screen the #MyriadAir video!
We asked Brittany if she is able to get any sneaky hints on what design elements are expected for the Myriad Garage this year. “The Myriad Garage will allow businesses to engage with new customers, gain feedback, generate leads and attract sales. A great place which will have you rubbing shoulders with global investors, corporate leaders and government representatives. Spots are limited for exhibitor spaces, so I would strongly recommend for any business owners out there, to secure a spot.” Well, Brittany, you’re definitely keeping us on our toes with some high expectations!
“Is there still time to apply for the competition?” we asked “For anyone interested in the Myriad Air event, I would encourage you to get online and upload a photo/video to Instagram or Twitter answering the following; ‘Which Myriad speaker would you like to meet & why?’ and don’t forget to hashtag #MyriadAir! The lucky influencer will be selected early April!”
